Logging into Jellyfin

Choose the system that you're trying to log into below

If you're encountering issues with logging in, check the uptime page for the media server before anything else. Then make sure you can log into the SSO portal.

Most of the different website run independently of each other. This means while you may be able to get to the SSO portal, you may not be able to get to Jellyfin or vise versa. If you are already logged in and Jellyfin is working, the SSO portal doesn't necessarily need to work to enjoy Jellyfin content.

1. From the main screen on the SSO portal, click the Jellyfin Media Server icon

Sign in with Phoenix Limited SSO

1. Open the website
2. Click on Sign in with Phoenix Limited SSO
3. Enter your login credentials and select Log in

Quick connect with another logged in device

1. Log into Jellyfin via the Website method, or open any other already logged in app
2. Click the Profile Icon in the top right corner
3. Click quick connect and have this screen ready
4. Open the website
5. Click Use Quick Connect
6. Take the 6 digit code proved and type it in your other device and click Authorize

Android/iOS

Quick connect with another logged in device

1. Log into Jellyfin via the Website method, or open any other already logged in app
2. Click the Profile Icon in the top right corner
3. Click quick connect and have this screen ready
4. Install the Jellyfin app from your favorite app store
5. Launch the app
6. For the host/server field, use the media server's website, just like below

You may have to omit the https:// when typing in the host/server

7. Scroll down and select Use Quick Connect
8. Take the 6 digit code proved and type it in your other device and click Authorize
9. The device you're trying to log into should automatically log you in and is ready for use!

Sign in with Phoenix Limited SSO

This method occasionally fails connecting or displaying the SSO login window regardless of server status

1. Install the Jellyfin app from your favorite app store
2. Launch the app
3. For the host/server field, use the media server's website, just like below

You may have to omit the https:// when typing in the host/server

4. Scroll down to the Sign in with Phoenix Limited SSO and select it
5. Enter your login credentials and select Log in

Smart TV/Media Player

tip

For those with Samsung Smart TVs, you may struggle to find the Jellyfin app, as it actually isn't in the app store, as Samsung hasn't approved it yet. It is still possible to install using a fairly technical and advanced process, contact the server administrator for assistance.

4. Install the Jellyfin app on your TV/media player
5. Launch the app
6. For the host/server field, use the media server's website, just like below
